The Alliances team drives go-to-market partnerships with Global System Integrators (GSIs), consultancies, and investment firms to identify and execute net new business opportunities.
In this Senior Alliances Partner Manager role, you will lead the global success of a portfolio of key GSI partners including Accenture, Capgemini, EPAM, and Publicis Sapient. You will be responsible for maturing and scaling these strategic partnerships, driving co-sell opportunities, and working with regional partner managers to execute in local markets across North America, EMEA, and LATAM.
Key responsibilities include:
• Strategic Practice Building: Partner with GSI executive leadership to design and launch joint commercial offerings and dedicated commerce practices around Adyen's financial products, including emerging areas like loyalty, agentic commerce, and embedded financial products.
• Relationship Navigation: Build trust-based relationships across all organizational levels within GSIs—Managing Directors, client partners, and technical delivery leads—to position Adyen as the top-of-mind solution for enterprise digital transformations.
• Global Strategy Alignment: Coordinate and align Adyen's regional partner managers to execute a unified go-to-market strategy across target GSIs in North America, EMEA, and LATAM.
• Commercial Joint Venturing: Lead co-creation of joint business cases, conduct account-mapping exercises, and drive strategic campaigns that generate sustainable, high-value enterprise pipeline.
• Enablement & Mindshare: Design and execute scalable education programs for GSI solution architects, consultants, and sales teams to enable confident positioning and recommendation of Adyen to global enterprise merchants.
• Executive Governance: Establish and conduct regular quarterly business reviews to track progress against shared KPIs, evaluate joint pipeline health, and ensure long-term strategic alignment.
You will operate with significant autonomy in a flat organization, managing relationships at the global level while coordinating execution across regions. Travel up to 25% across EMEA and North America is expected.
Requirements & Qualifications:
• Strong executive presence and ability to build trust with Partner and Director-level leaders; natural networker who commands the room.
• Proven ability to navigate complex partner and enterprise organizations to drive execution and close high-value deals.
• Sharp commercial mindset with hands-on deal-closing capability.
• Strong interest in modern financial platforms and enterprise commerce technology (e.g., Commercetools, SAP, Salesforce Commerce Cloud).
• Relevant background in consulting, GSI experience, or enterprise commerce is a strong plus; traditional fintech experience is not strictly required.
• Ability to sell effectively both externally with partners and internally within Adyen.
• Comfortable with autonomy and thriving in flat organizational structures.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% across EMEA and North America.
