Scale is seeking a Senior AI Product Manager to own the Finance vertical within its Agents Data & Reinforcement Learning Environments team. You will drive both the development of RL environments—realistic, high-fidelity simulations of financial software and workflows used by AI labs to train and evaluate agents—and the "data as a product" strategy powering them.
In this role, you'll leverage deep domain expertise in finance to identify which financial tasks are worth modeling, source and structure underlying data, and translate industry knowledge into defensible products. You'll own the Finance AI roadmap and data strategy, setting product direction for the Finance agents training stack and establishing a vision for how AI is transforming finance (investment banking, private equity, public markets, corporate finance, FP&A, etc.).
Key responsibilities include: building partnerships with research teams at frontier AI labs to understand capability gaps and shape competitive strategy; designing and scaling finance-specific environments that simulate real workflows (financial models, investment memos, forecasts, dashboards, data rooms); and collaborating cross-functionally to influence business priorities and deliver mission-critical outcomes.
Ideal candidates bring 3–6 years of direct finance industry experience (investment banking, private equity, trading, asset management, strategic finance, corp dev, or fintech product roles) paired with AI-forward thinking and a builder's mindset. You should have product or customer-facing experience, ML intuition and technical fluency around model training and RL environments, and a bias for action in fast-moving environments. A software background is a plus.
