The Accounting team maintains financial accuracy, compliance, and transparency across the organization. You will join this team as a Senior Accounting Specialist, responsible for the full accounting global scope with a mission to improve tools and quality of accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage monthly bookkeeping of transactions
- Report on and control entity expenses, ensuring correct coding within accounting records
- Reconcile monthly revenues and coordinate with payment processors
- Approve large financial transactions
- Contribute to financial audit processes
- Participate in projects and continuous improvement efforts across the Accounting function
- Manage relationships with external accounting service providers to ensure accuracy and agility
You will work closely with Legal, Operations, and Brand Partnerships teams to ensure every project is properly accounted for and financial data tells the right story. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, rapidly growing company.
The role is hybrid-based in Madrid with flexible work arrangements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or Master's in Finance, Accounting, or relevant field
- 3+ years of experience in audit, accounting, or similar functions (audit experience is a plus)
- Experience with Navision Business Central
- Fluent English
- Proactive, self-starter mindset with clear internal and external communication skills
- Rigorous, meticulous, autonomous, and organized
- Team player mentality
- Additional languages are a plus
