Salary: USD 90,281 - 119,171 / annual

WelbeHealth is seeking a Senior Accountant, Reporting to lead financial and regulatory reporting for a rapidly expanding healthcare organization serving seniors through PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) programs. Reporting to the Revenue and Reporting Accounting Manager, you will own external financial statements, regulatory filings, lender reporting, and internal management reporting across multiple markets. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and maintaining external financial statements and regulatory filings with audit-ready documentation; driving monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting deliverables by coordinating cross-functional stakeholders in Accounting, Finance, Operations, and Regulatory Affairs; partnering with FP&A and operations leaders to analyze key metrics and develop leadership-ready reporting narratives; supporting month-end close, quarterly external reporting, annual audits, and Medicare/Medicaid audits; building scalable reporting infrastructure through automation, system integrations, and process improvements; developing deep expertise in the PACE business model, Medicare/Medicaid flows, and regulatory constructs; and managing competing priorities across multiple functions. Required qualifications: minimum 3 years in general or public accounting (Big 4 preferred); regulatory reporting experience preferred; strong technical accounting skills and ability to operationalize proper accounting treatment; demonstrated ability to work independently in ambiguous environments, build processes from scratch, develop business context quickly, and deliver clear reporting outcomes. Healthcare industry experience (Medicare, Medicaid, or regulated healthcare environments) is strongly preferred.
