BaubleBar, a direct-to-consumer accessories company founded in 2010, is seeking a Senior Accountant to own inventory and cost-of-goods-sold (COGS) accounting within NetSuite. You will be the primary owner of inventory and related general ledger accounts, managing activity from foreign manufacturers and third-party logistics providers. This is a hands-on role embedded in a small, high-functioning finance team.
Key responsibilities include: owning inventory and COGS accounting across all channels (e-commerce, wholesale, marketplaces); managing monthly inventory rollforwards and reconciling physical counts, subledgers, and the general ledger; leading landed cost accounting (components, labor, packaging, freight, duties); preparing and posting monthly journal entries with full documentation; driving month-end close activities; coordinating with operations and supply chain to ensure accurate transaction recording; supporting external audits; executing and improving inventory accounting controls and NetSuite workflows; and contributing to broader general ledger and corporate accounting as needed.
You will need a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, plus 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience including general ledger and inventory or cost accounting exposure. Strong GAAP knowledge, month-end close proficiency, and advanced Excel skills are required. Hands-on NetSuite experience and familiarity with imported inventory, foreign manufacturers, and landed cost accounting (including freight and duties) are strongly preferred. You must be detail-oriented, ownership-minded, and able to work cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and finance partners. The role is fully remote for US-based employees authorized to work in the United States, with standard hours 9am–6pm.
Compensation: $95,000–$105,000 annually, with benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance (company-paid portion), PTO, 10 paid holidays, life insurance, company laptop, monthly product allowance, and employee discounts.
