As Senior Accountant, you will own the full accounts payable cycle including invoice review, coding, approvals, and payment processing, ensuring timely payments and managing vendor communications to resolve billing or payment issues. You'll also assist with accounts receivable functions. You will manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including close calendar and task tracking, and support monthly consolidation schedules. Key responsibilities include preparing analytics and supporting schedules for close reviews, preparing and posting journal entries (accruals, prepaid expenses, reclassifications), and performing balance sheet account reconciliations with variance investigation. Additional duties include assisting with audit preparation through supporting schedules and documentation, maintaining accounting policies and procedures, and supporting internal controls. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, HR, purchasing, and other teams to support reporting and operational needs, and participate in process improvement initiatives and system enhancements. Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; 5+ years of accounting experience (public accounting or high-growth company experience preferred); strong understanding of US GAAP fundamentals; experience with month-end close and account reconciliations; proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups, formulas); and experience with accounting systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, or Ramp. Experience integrating AI tools into day-to-day operations is valued. You must demonstrate strong attention to detail, organization, follow-through, ability to manage multiple priorities in deadline-driven environments, and excellent communication and collaborative skills. Bonus qualifications include CPA or CPA-eligibility, experience in technology/SaaS/startup environments, exposure to audits/SOX/internal controls, and experience with AP tools, expense systems, or close management software.
