As Senior Account Manager for Maritime in the Nordic region (EMEA), you will drive revenue expansion across existing maritime accounts in Northwest Europe, with a focus on the Nordic market. You will serve as a strategic commercial partner to industry leaders, translating complex maritime data into high-value solutions that support their decision-making.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drive portfolio revenue growth and meet/exceed annual sales targets across Nordic maritime accounts
- Identify and close strategic upsell and cross-sell opportunities aligned with client intelligence needs
- Serve as a commercial business partner on budgeting, multi-year planning, demand forecasting, and key metrics
- Gather market, product, and competitor intelligence from client interactions to inform Kpler's strategy
- Maintain CRM data integrity in Salesforce with accurate account notes and forecasting support
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Sales Operations, and Business Development
- Represent Kpler externally with professionalism, building trusted relationships with clients and industry stakeholders
- Negotiate contracts and commercial terms to secure profitable agreements
- Contribute to corporate strategic initiatives
Requirements:
- Extensive commercial experience in B2B account management or sales roles
- Direct domain exposure to maritime, energy, or commodities sectors (maritime experience strongly preferred)
- Proven background selling data, analytics, or SaaS platforms in technology or data vendor environments
- Demonstrated track record of driving account expansion, generating outbound opportunities, and closing complex deals
- Strong negotiation capabilities and proactive commercial mindset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in English required; willingness to travel across Northwest Europe
Nice-to-haves:
- Hands-on proficiency with Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Outreach, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Fluency in additional European languages
