Convene Hospitality Group operates a global portfolio of lifestyle brands creating experiential destinations for corporate meetings, brand activations, and gatherings. The Senior Account Manager will join the UK Sales team, reporting to the Director of Sales UK, and will be responsible for managing a portfolio of key accounts while driving new revenue growth in the experiential events market. Key responsibilities include: consistently exceeding revenue targets through strategic account management; cultivating relationships with managed accounts to elevate them to Regional/Enterprise level or identify multi-site agreement opportunities; serving as a product expert on Convene's meetings and technology solutions; maintaining engaging sales presence both in-person and virtually; demonstrating competitive differentiation; growing demand through strategic account development and network expansion; maintaining knowledge of Convene's products, locations, and business plans; sharing market intelligence with senior leadership; conducting site inspections, virtual tours, client meetings, and quarterly business reviews; discovering and nurturing relationships with new decision-makers and referral partners; responding rapidly to client inquiries; negotiating and closing agreements within pricing guidelines; attending trade shows and networking events; and securing repeat business to ensure long-term client satisfaction and retention. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of commercial experience in the UK meetings and events industry, with a proven track record selling to London's corporate and agency markets. Knowledge of experiential events across business and consumer markets is essential. Strong networking and relationship-building sales skills are required, along with the ability to work independently while thriving in a team environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are expected.
