The Senior Account Executive, Enterprise will be responsible for developing and closing business with a number of private and public accounts in an assigned account list through working with the partner sales community. The primary focus is on closing sales opportunities by collaborating with partners to identify, develop, accelerate, up-sell, and close transactions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and close business within the public sector
- Leverage partners to close sales with their end customers
- Conduct cold calls to develop sales activities with a large number of new mid-market and high-segment accounts
- Up-sell and cross-sell to the existing private customer base
- Forecast and manage account/opportunity details in Salesforce
- Propose, coordinate, and participate in marketing activities in the territory
- Travel at least 50% of the time for client engagement and business development
Requirements:
- Enterprise sales experience required
- Experience with vendors associated with Virtualization technology is a plus
- Proven experience selling through channel and direct models
- Track record of accomplishment selling in the private market to IT infrastructure specialists
- Proven ability to develop new sales
- Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly
- High-energy salesperson comfortable in fast-paced environments where roles and responsibilities change quickly
- Current full driving license
- Business proficient language skills in German and English
