Cinchy is a Toronto-based, investor-backed enterprise software company. The company's flagship platform, PeriMind, is an AI Connectivity & Control Plane designed to govern, manage, and secure autonomous AI agent interactions in real time. PeriMind authenticates, authorizes, and audits every AI agent query, API invocation, and workflow trigger instantly. The platform is trusted by leading institutions including RBC, TD Bank, Raymond James, iA Financial Group, and Brookfield Properties, providing CISOs, Chief AI Officers, and CTOs real-time visibility, hard boundary controls, and cryptographic auditability across their AI ecosystems. This is a founding commercial role—the company's first dedicated US sales hunter to open the New York metro market. You will drive net-new pipeline through targeted Land-and-Expand and Vertical Penetration strategies across financial, professional, and business services mid-market to lower Enterprise accounts (500–5,000 employees). This is a pure hunter role focused on outbound pipeline generation and cold account entry. Key responsibilities include: - Building and executing a high-impact territory plan focused on Land & Expand opportunities and Vertical Penetration across NYC financial and business services accounts - Executing structured sales methodology to qualify, advance, and close complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals with average contract values of $100K–$250K ACV - Developing and managing relationships with VAR and MSP partners to source, co-sell, and accelerate pipeline - Navigating enterprise buying committees, engaging IT, Legal, Compliance, and C-suite stakeholders simultaneously - Engaging CISO, Chief AI Officer, and CTO personas with narrative-driven discussions on agentic AI security and compliance - Synthesizing field insights to act as the primary Voice of the Market, guiding product feature prioritization - Partnering with CEO, CTO, and Customer Solutions team on deal strategy, demos, and technical due diligence - Representing PeriMind at NYC-area industry events and relevant conferences The role is NOT for sales professionals who rely on Solutions Engineers for every call. While you will have dedicated access to a Sales Engineer and Technical Account Manager for deep technical validation, you must possess strong technical fluency to independently articulate AI architecture, agent control planes, and governance frameworks, leading high-credibility technical conversations directly with CISOs and CTOs. This is also not an account maintenance seat—the company seeks a hunter who thrives on outbound pipeline generation and accelerating multi-threaded enterprise deal cycles from scratch. Support includes direct executive access (CEO and CTO available for strategic deals and customer escalations), pre-sales and demo support from the Customer Solutions team, proven product-market fit with live customers, configured CRM tooling, marketing-generated leads and collateral, and equity upside commensurate with the risk. The market moment: enterprises are rapidly deploying AI agents, but existing permission and security models were built for humans. PeriMind delivers the control plane required to safely govern autonomous AI actions at scale. With regulatory pressures mounting (EU AI Act, NIST AI standards) and key industries facing unprecedented compliance demands, PeriMind provides immediate, quantifiable control. Success metrics include: 30 days—product certification, ICP/verticals/buyer personas understood, CRM configured with 50 target accounts, first outbound sequence live; 60 days—10–15 discovery calls, 3–5 qualified opportunities, first multi-stakeholder deal in motion, product feedback loop established; 90 days—$300K–$500K qualified pipeline, first POC or paid pilot in negotiation, ≥5% outbound response rate, GTM playbook v1 delivered; 6 months—1 logo closed, $750K+ pipeline; 12 months—$1.5M pipeline, 3+ logos closed, $500K ARR booked. REQUIREMENTS: - 8–12 years of B2B enterprise technology sales experience, with at least 5 years in a closing hunter role - Strong technical fluency: ability to confidently discuss AI architecture, agent integrations, and data governance models; you will have SE/TAM support for deep-dive technical validation, but you must be able to lead the initial technical narrative - Proven track record of carrying and achieving individual quotas of $1M+ ARR in at least 2 of the last 3 years - Experience co-selling with VAR and MSP channel partners; comfort navigating partner-influenced and partner-sourced deals - Proficiency with a structured sales qualification methodology; disciplined pipeline management and CRM hygiene - Experience managing multi-threaded deals with IT, legal, compliance, and executive stakeholders - Proven ability to sell in a startup or early-stage environment where you are building the playbook, not following one
