Salary: USD 126,800 - 221,900 / annual
ServiceNow is seeking an SEC & ESG Reporting Manager to lead critical financial and sustainability reporting initiatives. This is a high-profile role reporting to the Sr. Director of SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting, with near-term focus on Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) readiness and broader ESG regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the SEC reporting process, ensuring financial statements comply with US GAAP, including preparation and filing of Form 10-Q, 10-K, and 8-K (earnings releases) with XBRL requirements
- Collaborate with ESG reporting, sustainability, and internal stakeholder teams on ESG regulatory reporting preparedness
- Lead project management for CSRD readiness initiatives and other jurisdictional-level ESG regulatory requirements
- Monitor and assess new accounting pronouncements, analyzing impact on the company and partnering with stakeholders
- Serve as a trusted business partner and advisor to Accounting, Finance, Legal, and cross-functional teams
- Drive process improvements to scale and optimize the financial reporting process
- Support proxy filings through quality assurance procedures
- Assess control gaps and support updates to internal controls and processes
- Research and document technical accounting issues; present and resolve company positions with external auditors
- Coordinate global statutory reporting of international subsidiaries with external auditors
- Support audit coordination and special projects
Requirements:
- Chartered Accountant with 4–8 years of post-qualification experience
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS-2, Ind AS 102, and ASC 718 with experience in auditing/accounting share-based compensation
- Deep knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and Ind-AS with ability to stay current on guidance changes
- Experience preparing and maintaining SOX controls (advantage)
- Experience with SAP and Workiva (plus)
- Preparation, audit, and analysis of financial statements in multiple countries and related financial reporting
- Experience supporting SEC reporting teams on Form 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and proxy filings for technology/product companies (plus)
- Big 4 public accounting firm experience (desirable but not required)
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in diverse teams
- Strong organization and time management in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
- Experience leveraging or critically thinking about integrating AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving
