Salary: USD 126,800 - 221,900 / annual
ServiceNow is seeking a SEC & ESG Reporting Manager to lead critical SEC and ESG reporting functions with a near-term focus on Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) readiness. This is a high-profile position reporting to the Director of SEC & ESG Reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the SEC reporting process and ensure financial statements comply with US GAAP, including filing Form 10-Q, 10-K, and 8-K (earnings release) with XBRL requirements
- Collaborate with ESG teams, sustainability reporting, and environmental sustainability teams on regulatory reporting readiness and execution
- Support CSRD readiness project management and manage other regulatory ESG reporting requirements at the jurisdictional level
- Monitor, assess, and implement new accounting pronouncements and analyze their impact on the company
- Stay current on evolving global ESG regulatory landscape (CSRD, TCFD, ISSB, GRI, SEC climate rules) and assess implications for reporting obligations
- Serve as a trusted business partner and advisor to stakeholders across Accounting, Finance, Legal, Sustainability, and cross-functional teams
- Drive process improvements to scale and optimize financial and sustainability reporting
- Support proxy filings through quality assurance procedures
- Assist with control updates, including assessing control gaps and process changes
- Coordinate global statutory reporting of international subsidiaries with external auditors
- Support external audit coordination and special projects
Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of total experience with 3-4 years of Big Four public accounting experience
- Manager-level experience with SEC reporting and earnings release responsibility
- BS/BA degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA required
- Strong technical accounting background with knowledge of US GAAP, SOX 404, SEC reporting standards, and ESG reporting standards (CSRD, TCFD, ISSB, GRI)
- Current understanding and involvement with existing ESG regulatory standards with ability to independently research and interpret emerging regulations
- Experience leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving
- Experience with Workiva and SAP
- Strong team player with positive, service-oriented attitude; ability to work across highly cross-functional teams
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to articulate financial reporting concepts to business stakeholders
- Proactive problem identification and remediation approach
- Strong organization and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as a team member in a flexible, analytical environment
