LiveLike is a leading provider of interactive, real-time fan engagement experiences for broadcasters, media companies, and sports leagues. We are seeking an SDET Engineer with 5-7 years of experience in quality assurance and test automation to ensure the high quality of our platform.
In this role, you will be responsible for both manual testing and developing automated test scripts, working closely with our development team to ensure platform functionality, reliability, and performance for real-time interactive experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze requirement documents, identify edge cases, and ensure comprehensive test coverage
- Translate requirements into detailed manual and automated test cases for functional and non-functional scenarios
- Conduct functional, non-functional, security, and performance testing across web and mobile platforms
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Appium, or similar tools
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing
- Design and document test cases for various scenarios; identify, log, and track defects
- Conduct regression testing to verify bug fixes and product stability
- Collaborate with product, development, and QA teams to define test strategies
- Participate in sprint planning to ensure adequate test coverage and timely delivery
- Monitor user experience during live events to ensure seamless operation
Key Requirements:
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience in software testing (manual and automation blend)
- Proven experience with test automation tools: Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG
- Experience testing web and mobile applications
- Knowledge of API testing and database validation
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, JavaScript)
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies and processes
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and JIRA
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab)
- Understanding of REST APIs and testing practices
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Proactive learner eager to adopt new technologies
