As a Commercial Account Executive on the Scaled Install Base team, you will own a broad portfolio of existing Vercel customers and be responsible for both retaining and growing their business. This is a full-cycle closing role where you manage a high-volume book of accounts, balancing renewals, customer engagement, pipeline generation, and expansion opportunities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own the commercial relationship for a portfolio of existing Vercel customers
- Manage the renewal process from early preparation through negotiation and close, protecting recurring revenue
- Build expansion pipeline by prospecting within existing accounts, reaching new stakeholders, and uncovering new teams and workloads
- Run discovery, demonstrations, and commercial conversations across renewal and expansion opportunities
- Use customer signals, product usage, and account data to prioritize actions across a large portfolio
- Re-engage customers with limited activity and develop hypotheses for additional value creation
- Build relationships with developers, engineering leaders, product teams, and business stakeholders
- Partner with Solutions Architects, Customer Success, Product, and other internal teams
- Maintain accurate account plans, opportunity details, and forecasts in Vercel's systems
- Use automation, AI, and repeatable workflows to operate efficiently at scale
- Share learnings and help develop scalable plays for renewals, risk mitigation, and expansion
This role is an ideal next step for an emerging seller ready to move into full-cycle account ownership. You may have developed skills in an SDR, BDR, renewals, account management, customer success, or another customer-facing position. What matters most is that you are commercially driven, eager to learn, and ready to take ownership of a revenue number.
The role includes in-office anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday if based within commuting distance of SF, NY, London, or Berlin offices. If located beyond that distance, the role is fully remote.
