You'll join the newly established Fincrime Intelligence and Reporting function as an Investigative Reporting Analyst, playing a critical role in protecting Tide's members by identifying and reporting suspicious financial activity to law enforcement authorities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Achieving formal accreditation to carry out specific responsibilities on behalf of Tide's Nominated Officer
- Collating and evaluating internal reports for inclusion in law enforcement notifications, including Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs)
- Writing comprehensive reports on all types of financial crime with accuracy and quality assurance
- Supporting complex, proactive investigations by ensuring timely and accurate reporting to external partners
- Reviewing case outcomes and decisions to ensure correct documentation and case resolution
- Providing feedback, leading training workshops, and mentoring team members
- Identifying process efficiencies and recommending improvements to prevent fraud and financial crime
- Managing your own case load to meet productivity and quality targets
- Building strong cross-departmental relationships to ensure operational synergy
You'll need 1-3 years of experience in financial crime investigations, compliance, or QA roles within financial services, with specialization in business-related anti-money laundering and fraud investigations. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and possesses strong analytical and communication skills. You should be comfortable working with diverse stakeholders including internal teams and regulatory bodies, with exceptional written and verbal communication abilities. A curious mindset, problem-solving attitude, and keen eye for process improvements are essential.
