Axios, a modern media company, is hiring a Salesforce Business Analyst to build and scale CRM, reporting, and analytics capabilities within the Revenue Operations team. This role owns and administers the Salesforce Media Cloud instance, serving as a trusted data source for the revenue organization.
Key responsibilities include day-to-day Salesforce administration (user management, permissions, page layouts, flows, reports, dashboards, validation rules, automation), translating business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions, and developing reports and dashboards that provide executives and sales leadership with actionable visibility into business performance and KPIs. You'll support data migration efforts, ensure data quality and governance, identify automation opportunities, and support sales planning and performance management including QBRs and weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting. Additional duties involve troubleshooting user and system issues, recommending scalable solutions, and creating documentation and training materials to support user adoption.
Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of Salesforce Administrator experience and 1–2 years in sales operations or sales analytics. Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM-201) is required or must be obtained within the first year. Experience building flows, reports, dashboards, validation rules, and custom objects is essential, along with strong understanding of Salesforce security, profiles, permission sets, and data management best practices. You should demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, strong communication skills, and a customer-service mindset.
Bonus qualifications include experience with Salesforce Media Cloud, integrating Salesforce with third-party applications, supporting Salesforce data migrations, or working in the media industry. Within the first year, you'll establish a scalable Salesforce foundation supporting the revenue organization, deliver a stable and well-governed environment, support legacy CRM migration while maintaining data quality, improve automation, increase adoption through training and support, and partner with cross-functional teams to improve data and analytics leverage. This role reports to the Senior Director of Revenue Strategy and Operations.
