Veeam, the Data and AI Trust Company, is seeking a Sales Systems Engineer III to support the renewal and retention motion for its Securiti AI (Data Security Posture Management) portfolio. This role is based in Costa Rica and blends deep security and data protection expertise with a post-sales, customer-retention mindset.
You will serve as the technical point of contact for Securiti AI customers throughout the renewal lifecycle, delivering customer presentations, demonstrations, and remote configuration/health reviews to confirm solutions are delivering expected value ahead of renewal. You'll consult with customers on data discovery, posture management, data access and governance, and compliance use cases, translating business objectives into clear technical requirements and outcomes.
Key responsibilities include partnering closely with Renewal Account Managers to inform and influence customers on the value and technical fit of Securiti AI solutions; transforming product-based selling into customer-centric problem-solving; identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the Securiti AI portfolio; coordinating with Support, Licensing, and Product Management to provide structured customer feedback; and maintaining working knowledge of DSPM frameworks, data privacy/security standards, and new product releases.
You'll organize work efficiently using Salesforce.com for account tracking and process management, working effectively and autonomously in a remote environment. Strong written and oral communication skills are essential, as is the ability to simplify complex technical and security concepts for varied audiences.
Required qualifications: 2–4 years of experience in solution sales, technical presales, post-sales, or technical support; knowledge of security and compliance frameworks (GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, HIPAA); familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and basic DSPM concepts; fluency in Spanish and English (Portuguese a plus); proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with strong time management; willingness to travel 10–25%. Beneficial: relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, or cloud-specific).
