You will build, coach, and manage a team of 6–8 Account Executives who own defined geographic territories. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both strategic thinking and deep commitment to field coaching.
Key responsibilities include: hiring and developing Account Executives; actively participating in the sales process through ride-alongs, joint customer visits, and site visits; conducting pipeline and deal reviews with consistent coaching; helping teams build pipeline in new and existing markets; partnering cross-functionally with product, marketing, and customer success; and leveraging CRM and data analytics to track metrics and forecast pipelines. You'll foster an entrepreneurial, high-energy team culture grounded in local presence and genuine customer relationships.
Required qualifications: 2+ years of leadership experience managing 6+ quota-carrying Account Executives in field or territory-based sales; proven track record of exceeding team quotas and developing reps for promotion; direct field sales experience or field sales management; passion for coaching high-performing teams; entrepreneurial mindset suited to fast-paced, high-growth environments; strong business judgment and data fluency; exceptional communication and relationship-building skills; willingness to travel extensively within the West Coast region (approximately 25% travel). Experience in construction, payroll, or related industries is a plus.
The role requires significant overlap with West Coast working hours (Pacific or Mountain time zones). This is a field-first leadership role with substantial travel focused on field coaching, customer meetings, industry events, and site visits.
