OpenAI is seeking an Enterprise Sales Manager for Cyber to build and lead a team of Account Directors focused on strategic growth with leading cyber companies and enterprise security organizations. In this role, you will recruit, develop, and lead high-performing enterprise account directors while coaching senior sellers through complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving security, product, engineering, legal, procurement, and executive stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include defining the cyber go-to-market strategy (customer segmentation, account prioritization, partner opportunities, executive engagement, territory planning), driving pipeline generation and forecast accuracy, and guiding complex opportunities with CISOs and security leaders. You will help customers identify measurable ways to apply AI across security products and workflows—including analyst productivity, investigations, incident response, and software security—while partnering with Product, Solutions Architecture, Technical Success, Legal, Security, Finance, and policy teams to support responsible deployment. You will also share customer feedback on product needs, integration blockers, data protection and governance requirements, and emerging cyber use cases.
This is an opportunity to shape OpenAI's approach to an evolving market, turning early adoption into lasting customer partnerships and building new go-to-market motions that drive adoption beyond initial deployments.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 15+ years of enterprise sales, GTM, or sales leadership experience, including substantial experience in cyber
- Proven track record building and scaling teams responsible for large, complex strategic accounts and significant revenue targets
- Deep understanding of how cyber companies and enterprise security teams evaluate, buy, deploy, and expand technical platforms
- Experience building new go-to-market motions and growing adoption beyond initial deployments
- Ability to coach senior sellers through long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- Technical fluency across APIs, cloud and enterprise architecture, data platforms, AI/ML concepts, and security buying requirements
- Strong operating rigor across forecasting, pipeline health, territory planning, and performance management
- Executive presence and low-ego, collaborative leadership style
- Plus: experience with consumption-based platforms, AI-enabled security products, or public-company sales operations
