WorkOS is seeking a Sales Manager to lead its early-stage enterprise sales team while maintaining an individual quota. This is a player-coach role combining team leadership with personal deal closure. Simultaneously, you'll own and close your own portfolio of enterprise accounts, identifying and qualifying high-potential customers while modeling a consultative, delightful customer journey tailored to technical buyers. Key responsibilities include: team leadership and coaching; carrying your own book of enterprise business; fostering internal technical champions; leading experiments to increase enterprise revenue and scaling successful playbooks; collaborating with marketing, product, and engineering on sales strategies; managing team-level forecasting and pipeline hygiene; supporting hiring and onboarding of new Account Executives; staying current on industry trends and product developments; and providing regular performance updates to leadership. The company recently raised a $100M Series C at a $2B valuation and powers enterprise features for leading AI companies including OpenAI, Cursor, Perplexity, Vercel, and Plaid. Required qualifications: 7+ years SaaS sales experience with enterprise focus, including 2+ years leading or mentoring sellers; proven track record exceeding quotas as an individual contributor and driving team quota attainment; demonstrated success developing reps and improving win rates and deal sizes; ability to build deep technical knowledge and credibly engage technical buyers; excellent communication skills; CRM proficiency including forecasting and pipeline reporting; startup experience, particularly in high-growth PLG organizations; hands-on experience with AI-native tools (LLMs, agents, automation); and fluency in how AI-first companies build, buy, and evaluate software. Bonus: familiarity with IAM solutions like SSO, directory sync, or audit logs.
