You will lead the daily performance and development of Account Executives and Senior Account Executives. This is a hands-on management role where you coach calls and deal strategy, maintain clear visibility of each rep's pipeline, spot gaps in follow-up, and translate performance data into specific actions. You will partner with Sales leadership and cross-functional teams to improve how the company generates and converts opportunities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead, coach, and hold AEs and SAEs accountable for partner engagement, qualified submissions, signed agreements, and pipeline progression
- Run consistent management cadence: individual coaching, call reviews, pipeline reviews, and team meetings with clear next steps
- Help reps prioritize their days around highest-value prospects, active opportunities, and partner follow-up
- Monitor activity, task completion, follow-up quality, and opportunity aging to address missed contacts and stalled deals
- Coach prospecting, discovery, program positioning, objection handling, and partner-to-submission transitions
- Support distinct AE and SAE motions including reseller partner outreach, TUMS portal activation, and repeat referral development
- Use CRM data and conversion trends to identify performance gaps, diagnose root causes, and build improvement plans
- Maintain reliable pipeline reporting and forecasts; communicate performance and risks to Sales leadership
- Collaborate with Marketing, Business Development, CX, and Operations to improve lead handoffs, partner campaigns, and rep experience
- Improve scripts, sequences, training, and management processes; help new reps ramp and established reps improve
Requirements:
- At least three years of experience managing an inside sales or relationship-driven sales team with a track record of improving rep performance
- Strong coaching skills and willingness to review real calls, inspect pipeline details, and give direct, useful feedback
- Experience managing through CRM data including activity, conversion, pipeline health, and forecasting
- Ability to distinguish volume problems from follow-up, qualification, or conversion problems and act accordingly
- Experience building or improving sales playbooks, scripts, outreach sequences, and onboarding
- Strong communication and organization skills with judgment to prioritize high-impact issues
- Comfort working across teams and adapting processes in a growing business
- Experience in real estate, mortgage, or partner-led sales is helpful but not required; coaching ability and results matter most
- Must reside in Austin or be willing to self-relocate
- Must be willing to work 80% in office (1 day work-from-home per week)
