Salary: USD 120,000 - 145,000 / annual
Bobyard is automating construction takeoffs using computer vision and NLP, addressing a $60B annual spend on manual cost estimation in the construction industry. The company is backed by Primary, Pear, and 8VC.
You will be Bobyard's first dedicated Sales Enablement & Training Manager, building the training infrastructure, tooling, and content systems for a growing sales organization. This is a high-ownership, build-from-scratch role where you'll directly impact how the sales team scales.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning onboarding for all new AEs and SDRs across trade verticals, ensuring consistent ramp and early productivity
- Designing and running a certification program with Sales Engineers that reps must complete before running independent demos or calls
- Partnering with Sales leadership to identify skill gaps by funnel stage and building targeted training to address them
- Providing hands-on coaching through live call observation and individual feedback (not just content creation)
- Working with Product on launch readiness to ensure reps can sell new features and verticals from day one
- Building and maintaining trade-specific playbooks that simplify selling for new reps
- Tracking ramp time and quota attainment by cohort to measure what's working and eliminate what isn't
- Owning the enablement tech stack and ensuring reps are trained on daily tools
- Coaching sales managers on reinforcing enablement content in 1:1s and deal reviews
You'll work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product to translate field insights into scalable playbooks. The role requires translating complex product value into simple, repeatable selling language for a buyer base that is traditionally skeptical of software and hands-on in decision-making.
Requirements:
- 3–5+ years in sales enablement, sales training, or related revenue roles (AE/SE background preferred)
- Experience building a training program from the ground up, not maintaining an existing one
- Strong ability to translate complex or technical product value into simple, repeatable selling language, especially for non-software-native buyers
- Comfortable with sales tooling and data (HubSpot or similar CRM; reporting/analytics a plus)
- Bonus: experience selling into construction, trades, or other traditionally offline/skeptical-of-software industries
