OpenFin is hiring a Sales Director for the Government Sector to join the EMEA Sales team, based in London with hybrid flexibility (office attendance required Wednesdays and Thursdays). HERE is an enterprise browser purpose-built for work, powered by Chromium, combining enterprise-grade security, seamless productivity, and native AI integration. The platform is trusted by 90% of global banks and used within the U.S. Intelligence Community.
This is an individual contributor role focused on expanding HERE's Enterprise SaaS footprint across large government organisations and the public sector in the UK. You will be responsible for building and achieving your own sales targets without managing a team.
Key responsibilities include: building a strong pipeline through proactive prospecting and strategic account networking; meeting annual sales quotas using a structured sales process (MEDDICC); cultivating and sustaining valuable client relationships throughout the complete sales cycle; becoming a solutions consultant by understanding security, productivity, and digital transformation trends and aligning them to customer-specific challenges; developing deep product expertise to communicate value propositions to senior stakeholders; and representing HERE at industry events.
The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of direct enterprise SaaS sales experience, with a proven track record selling to UK government and public sector organisations. You should have experience selling enterprise-level platform tools, independently generating pipeline from proactive outreach, and closing large deals. You need strong technical aptitude combined with the ability to articulate value propositions clearly to diverse stakeholder groups. Experience with partner-led lead generation, excellent communication skills (verbal, written, negotiation, presentation), and genuine enthusiasm for technology and HERE's mission are essential.
