Talos is hiring a Sales Director to lead counterparty acquisition and revenue growth for p(X), an independent business unit providing aggregated, institutional-grade digital asset liquidity through a curated network of global trading venues.
p(X) operates as a distinct legal entity with its own balance sheet, governance structure, Board of Directors, and management team. While it leverages shared corporate services (Legal, Compliance, Finance, Information Security) from Talos, it maintains independent commercial and operational activities.
In this high-ownership, early-employee role, you will drive the full sales lifecycle for a fast-scaling pipeline, targeting retail brokers, fintechs, funds, and neobanks. You will source and pitch new counterparties, own negotiations and onboarding, expand the trading counterparty network throughout 2027, and build long-term strategic relationships. You will meet and exceed agreed-upon sales and activation targets, partner closely with the Trading team on onboarding and workflow improvements, and analyze market opportunities while producing clear sales reporting.
The ideal candidate has exceptional communication skills, a proactive problem-solving mindset, and deep understanding of crypto institutional sales and trading workflows.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 7–10+ years in institutional trading sales (crypto experience a bonus)
- Strong background in institutional capital markets with demonstrable sales achievements
- Existing crypto network or proven track record growing a book of business in the ecosystem
- Highly motivated and target-driven with a record of hitting or exceeding goals
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Data-driven approach to prioritization and decision-making
- High sense of urgency, entrepreneurial mindset, and ability to operate autonomously
