Artemis is building AI-driven cybersecurity defense solutions, helping organizations detect and defend against AI-powered cyber threats. The company is backed by First Round Capital and Brightmind, with founders from Palo Alto Networks, AWS, Demisto, Abnormal Security, and Twitter. The team includes engineers and researchers from Google, Abnormal AI, Wiz, Meta, AWS, and SentinelOne.
As a Sales Development Representative, you will be the first point of contact for prospects, responsible for building pipeline and supporting enterprise security deals. You'll research target accounts, run outbound prospecting campaigns, qualify inbound leads, and set meetings for Account Executives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Running targeted outbound prospecting campaigns via email, LinkedIn, and phone to security leaders (CISOs, VPs of Security, Security Engineers)
- Researching prospect companies, identifying decision-makers, and understanding their security posture and needs
- Qualifying inbound leads and routing to Account Executives with clear context
- Conducting discovery conversations to understand prospect pain points and determine fit
- Setting meetings with qualified prospects and briefing AEs on context before calls
- Building and maintaining accurate pipeline in Salesforce
- Hitting monthly activity targets (outreach, conversations, qualified meetings)
- Working closely with Account Executives to refine targeting and understand what makes a qualified lead
- Providing feedback on market trends, common objections, and competitive intelligence
Requirements:
- 1-3 years in sales development, inside sales, or similar prospecting role (cybersecurity experience is a plus but not required)
- Comfortable making cold calls and sending cold emails
- Strong research skills and ability to identify the right person to contact at target companies
- Genuine curiosity about cybersecurity and how companies defend themselves
- Strong communication skills
- Self-motivated and competitive with ownership of pipeline and numbers
- Comfortable with CRM (Salesforce) and sales tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.)
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship not available)
Nice to have:
- Background in cybersecurity, security operations, or technical roles
- Experience prospecting to security buyers or IT decision-makers
- Familiarity with SIEM, EDR, or other security tools
- Experience at an early-stage SaaS or security company
