Snowflake is seeking a Sales Development Representative to join the Observe team (now part of Snowflake) in the London office. Observe is a SaaS platform enabling businesses to investigate modern distributed applications 10x faster. As part of Snowflake's AI Data Cloud, the company has created a unified platform for telemetry and business data.
The SDR program at Observe is positioned as a leadership pipeline, with SDRs viewed as the next wave of Account Executives. The company invests heavily in SDR growth through a 2-week intensive bootcamp, weekly 1-1 mentorship, and bi-weekly strategy sessions. Leadership works alongside SDRs in the trenches to develop business acumen and accelerate productivity.
In this role, you will identify high-potential businesses across your region that would benefit from Observe's observability platform. You'll work with the sales team to develop and execute inbound and outbound campaigns from ideation through qualified calls. Responsibilities include developing strong sales and product knowledge, interacting with engineering decision makers via phone, LinkedIn, and email, managing lead and prospect activity in Salesforce, setting qualified introductory meetings for the sales team, nurturing early-phase opportunities, and exceeding monthly and quarterly opportunity quotas. You'll build strong relationships with marketing and Account Executives to maximize business wins and invest in your own professional development.
The role requires fluency in both English and German (spoken and written), as you'll be engaging with German-speaking prospects and stakeholders. You'll need a self-starter mentality with a proven track record of hitting and exceeding goals, outstanding communication skills (phone and written), and the ability to work independently or with coaching. REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of experience in a sales or sales development function
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Fluency in spoken and written German
- Self-starter with a track record of hitting and exceeding goals
- Outstanding communication skills (phone, written, active listening)
- Validated time management and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently or through coaching
- Desire to work in a driven, fast-paced environment
- Passionate about cutting-edge technology with aptitude to learn new IT software products and understand business-critical solutions quickly
