The Sales Development Representative role is the front line of pipeline generation for the Go-To-Market team. You will identify, engage, and qualify manufacturing prospects across SMB, mid-market, and enterprise segments, translating market interest into meaningful sales conversations for Account Executives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Prospecting target manufacturing accounts and generating marketing-qualified leads
- Following up on inbound interest from form submissions, webinars, trade shows, and campaigns
- Building outbound prospecting lists and executing multi-channel outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn
- Monitoring website engagement to identify high-intent prospects
- Creating and testing outreach sequences to improve response and conversion rates
- Leveraging HubSpot, Salesforce, LinkedIn, and ZoomInfo for pipeline management
- Collaborating with Sales and Marketing teams to align messaging and improve campaign effectiveness
- Maintaining disciplined activity tracking and CRM hygiene
You should have 1–2 years of success in a structured outbound sales or business development environment, demonstrated ability to meet or exceed activity and pipeline KPIs, and comfort communicating with Director, VP, and C-level stakeholders. A process-oriented mindset, strong attention to detail, and ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment are essential. Experience selling into industrial automation or manufacturing is a bonus.
