As a Sales Development Representative for the APAC region, you will be the first point of contact for inbound leads, responsible for qualifying prospects and setting up productive meetings with Account Executives. Your core responsibilities include:
**Inbound Lead Response & Qualification**: Respond quickly to leads from website activity, content downloads, demo requests, and events. Research each prospect's company profile, role, and tech stack before engaging. Conduct consultative qualification conversations to identify fit, need, and timing. Hand off qualified leads to APAC AEs with full context for strong first conversations.
**Event Follow-Up**: Own timely, personalized follow-up for leads captured at APAC events, webinars, and field programs. Partner with Revenue Marketing on event strategy and messaging. Re-engage quiet contacts using multi-touch sequences across email, phone, and LinkedIn tailored to their role.
**Lead Nurturing & Re-Engagement**: Work warm and aging leads in the database, identifying re-engagement opportunities. Run multi-touch sequences that reference prior engagement. Recycle leads appropriately with clear notes for future follow-up.
**Collaboration & Feedback**: Partner with APAC AEs on lead quality and handoff standards. Share prospect feedback with Revenue Marketing to inform content, campaigns, and events. Work with the BDR Team Lead on prioritization and process improvements.
**Operational Discipline**: Maintain accurate lead status, activity, and disposition records in Salesforce. Follow lead routing and qualification standards consistently.
The role emphasizes speed-to-lead, research-backed personalization, consultative qualification, and cross-functional collaboration. You'll work APAC hours with flexibility to collaborate across time zones. The company values humility, accountability, and doing the right thing, with genuine ownership and growth opportunities.
**Requirements**: Prior SDR, BDR, customer-facing, or inbound sales experience preferred, though strong communication skills and coachability matter more than years of experience. Must be comfortable responding quickly while conducting thorough research. Confident engaging prospects via phone, email, and LinkedIn with a consultative, curious approach. AI-proficient for lead research and personalized outreach. Comfortable working APAC hours and collaborating across time zones. Familiar with Salesforce and standard sales engagement tools, or able to ramp quickly. Interest in security or developer-tooling space is a plus but not required.
