This role is part of Verkademy, Verkada's Account Executive Development Program designed to fast-track sales professionals into mid-market closing roles. As an Associate Account Executive, you'll be at the center of a high-growth sales organization with a clear promotion path.
Key responsibilities include:
- Prospecting and qualifying high volumes of cold leads into qualified prospects
- Uncovering customer needs and business problems to position Verkada solutions
- Generating sales-ready meetings and opportunities for Account Executives
- Providing thorough discovery and accurate lead distribution
- Using Salesforce and sales enablement tools to track metrics and manage pipeline
- Consistently achieving quota targets to drive territory revenue growth
- Building relationships with prospects and customers across technical and business audiences
- Operating effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
The Verkademy program is approximately 9 months with potential to complete faster. Successful candidates are typically leaders and overachievers who thrive in challenging environments. The program covers foundational tech sales skills including prospecting, discovery, demos, technical wins, and best practices.
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience, strong English communication skills, willingness to work onsite five days per week, US work eligibility. Salesforce and Outreach experience is a plus.
