LangChain is hiring a Sales Development Manager to lead and scale the founding SDR team. The company builds the foundation for agent engineering, offering a platform for building, evaluating, deploying, and operating AI agents at scale. With $125M raised at Series B from top-tier VCs (IVP, Sequoia, Benchmark, CapitalG, Sapphire Ventures), LangChain has achieved significant traction: 100M+ monthly open-source downloads, 6,000+ active LangSmith customers, and adoption by 5 of the Fortune 10 and 35% of the Fortune 500.
In this role, you will lead and coach a team of SDRs responsible for generating qualified pipeline for LangSmith and LangChain products. You'll own SDR performance metrics including activity, conversion rates, pipeline creation, and attainment. Key responsibilities include recruiting and growing SDR talent, developing team members through coaching and structured feedback, building repeatable outbound and inbound qualification playbooks, and partnering with marketing to convert inbound demand. You'll work closely with sales leadership and RevOps to align on target accounts, territories, and pipeline goals, implement systems and workflows that improve SDR productivity, and use data to continuously optimize performance across the funnel.
The role is based in either San Francisco or New York City, offering the opportunity to shape GTM motion at a high-growth, well-funded AI infrastructure company with meaningful customer traction and a clear path to scale.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience in sales development
- 1–3+ years managing SDRs or leading a sales development team
- Comfortable working with technical products and developer audiences
- Experience with modern GTM tooling (AI Agents, LinkedIn Sales Nav, Power Dialers, etc.)
- Highly data-driven with comfort managing performance through metrics
- Passionate about coaching and developing early-career sales talent
- Ability to thrive in fast-moving environments where processes are still evolving
- Strong communication and organizational skills
