Stuut is an AI-powered order-to-cash platform serving 150+ enterprises from mid-market to Fortune 50, including Honeywell, ZoomInfo, and PerkinElmer. The platform automates order management, credit, collections, payments, cash application, disputes, and deductions, helping customers unlock up to 40% more cash flow and reduce DSO by 47. Founded in New York by Tarek Alaruri and Ben Winter, Stuut has raised $93 million from top-tier investors including Andreessen Horowitz, Insight Partners, M12, and Microsoft's Venture Fund. The Sales Development Lead will partner with the Sales Development Manager to build, hire, and coach a high-performing SDR team responsible for qualifying and converting leads for Account Executives. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll spend most of your time on the sales floor—listening to calls, running huddles, and coaching reps in real time. Key responsibilities include: owning weekly and monthly qualified-meeting targets, show rates, and meeting-to-close contribution; recruiting, interviewing, and ramping SDRs on an aggressive growth plan; conducting daily coaching through live call listening, recorded call reviews, role plays, and one-on-ones with clear development plans; partnering with the SDR Manager on daily operating cadence (morning huddles, activity tracking, end-of-day reviews) and holding the team to high standards on volume, speed-to-lead, and CRM hygiene; and reporting clearly to the SDR Manager on pipeline created, team performance, and what's working. The ideal candidate has carried a phone quota and then built and coached a team that beat one. You lead from the middle of the room, not from a conference call. You're competitive, resilient, and take ownership of the team's number as your own. You coach your reps to measurable improvement every month, and they can articulate exactly what you're working on with them. You're equally invested in helping Account Executives win. Requirements: 1+ years in sales; 1+ year managing or leading SDRs, BDRs, or inside sales teams; proven track record of hitting team targets through coaching and process; experience hiring, onboarding, and ramping early-career salespeople at pace; strong command of outbound and inbound prospecting mechanics (cadences, speed-to-lead, qualification, disposition discipline); fluency with CRM systems, dialers, and sales engagement tools; comfort building reports and reading dashboards; excellent written and verbal communication. Nice to have: competitive background with experience being coached hard; experience in high-velocity consumer sales (education, youth programs, fitness, coaching, insurance); experience scaling an SDR team from small to large.
