Everestlabs.AI is seeking a Sales & Deployment Engineer to own the complete customer lifecycle for robotics and AI solutions in industrial settings—from initial site survey through live deployment. This is a hybrid role combining sales engineering and forward-deployed engineering responsibilities.
You will conduct site surveys at material recovery facilities (MRFs), recycling plants, and manufacturers to identify robotics, vision, and automation opportunities. You'll translate operational pain points (contamination, sortation accuracy, downtime, belt utilization) into technical solutions, recommending the right combination of robots, vision systems, and Navigator AI agent integration. You'll lead product demonstrations, discovery workshops, and technical presentations to plant executives and floor teams, then support proposal development with technical scope, feasibility analysis, and ROI modeling.
Once a deal closes, you own end-to-end deployment: project-managing robotics installations and Navigator rollouts, coordinating with engineering, DevOps, and field service teams. You'll partner with the AI team to tune computer vision models for each facility's specific material streams and conditions, configure and customize AI agents for plant workflows, and support integration with existing systems (PLCs, SCADA, OPC UA). You'll onboard customers to ensure operators and managers adopt the system and achieve measurable results post-go-live.
As the customer's primary technical contact, you'll identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, bring field learnings back to product and engineering teams, and stay current on industry trends in recycling, sorting, and industrial AI.
This role requires comfort working on industrial plant floors in PPE, with up to 50% travel to customer facilities and industry events. You'll work in a US-based, remote-flexible arrangement with preference for Central or Mountain region candidates.

- Proven track record closing technical deals and taking solutions to production
- Hands-on ability to build and customize software and AI solutions, including coding agents
- Strong project management across customer, engineering, and DevOps stakeholders
- Ability to read technical specifications, line drawings, and data sheets
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for both operators and executives
