This is a hands-on, player-coach role where you'll develop a team of SDRs, establish clear qualification and handoff standards, and step into priority conversations when needed. You'll use data-driven decision-making, call reviews, and regular coaching to improve speed-to-lead, meeting conversion, show rates, opportunity acceptance, and pipeline creation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of SDRs to consistently meet goals for response time, qualification, meetings booked, show rate, accepted opportunities, and pipeline creation
- Own the team's rotating coverage model across calls, live chat, form submissions, email replies, and other inbound channels
- Develop repeatable, scalable processes for direct outbound prospecting, contact nurture, and high-intent retargeting workflows
- Build onboarding and ongoing enablement for Eventeny's solutions, buyer personas, discovery questions, objection handling, and CRM workflows
- Establish and maintain consistent qualification and handoff processes so sales specialists receive timely meetings with accurate context
- Own SDR reporting, dashboards, weekly performance reviews, capacity planning, and communication of risks and opportunities to leadership
- Maintain strong CRM discipline in HubSpot, including lead routing, activity capture, data quality, and follow-up standards
- Partner with Marketing to improve lead quality and speed-to-lead; partner with Sales to improve meeting quality and closed-loop feedback
- Develop scalable playbooks for inbound conversion, outbound reply handling, AI-assisted workflows, and lead recycling
- Maintain deep understanding of Eventeny's platform and model customer empathy and ethical selling in every interaction
- Travel may be expected for conferences and business development efforts
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in sales development, opportunity creation, or another high-volume customer-facing sales role in a SaaS environment
- 2+ years of direct experience coaching, supervising, and managing SDRs or other quota-carrying sales team members
- Track record of improving team performance through clear goals, structured coaching, quality assurance, and consistent accountability
- Strong command of inbound sales fundamentals: speed-to-lead, discovery, qualification, objection handling, meeting conversion, and sales handoffs
- Strong comfort building and interpreting funnels, dashboards, and team metrics in a CRM; hands-on HubSpot experience strongly preferred
- Growth experiment mindset: form hypotheses, test processes, learn from results, and turn what works into repeatable playbooks
- Self-directed, highly organized, and resilient leadership style; ability to thrive in fast-paced startup environment
- Data-driven decision-making and cross-functional communication
- Commitment to customer empathy, ethical business practices, inclusive leadership, and high-quality prospect experiences
- Plus: Experience with AI-assisted sales workflows, events/event technology, or selling to SMB, mid-market, government, or enterprise buyers
