Alpaca, a US-headquartered global leader in agent-first brokerage infrastructure, is seeking a Sales Analyst to support and amplify the effectiveness of its growing sales organization. The company serves hundreds of financial institutions across 40 countries with institutional-grade APIs for stocks, ETFs, options, crypto, fixed income, and 24/5 trading, supporting over 10 million brokerage accounts. Backed by $400 million in funding from top-tier investors including Portage Ventures, Spark Capital, and Y Combinator, Alpaca operates a globally distributed team of 400+ members. The Sales Analyst will work closely with Sales leadership and Account Executives throughout the sales cycle, functioning as a force multiplier by reducing administrative burden and improving the quality and speed of customer preparation. Key responsibilities include supporting account strategy and customer meetings, preparing account briefs and background materials for strategic meetings, coordinating customer proposals and pricing materials, tracking follow-ups and action items, maintaining and organizing sales collateral, partnering with Product, Marketing, Legal, and Compliance teams to keep materials current, developing sales playbooks and templates, supporting new-hire onboarding and sales training, and identifying opportunities to standardize, automate, or eliminate recurring work. A critical aspect of this role is AI fluency and modern go-to-market systems expertise. The ideal candidate will use agentic tools such as Cursor agents, Claude, and ChatGPT as a regular part of their workflow, recognizing recurring manual work and turning it into repeatable agent workflows and automation available to the broader team. The role requires practical fluency with the modern GTM stack, including CRM and data enrichment tools (HubSpot, Clay, Apollo), ability to build enrichment workflows and maintain data quality, analytical depth with pipeline data and BI tools, and understanding of buying signals (funding events, hiring trends, regulatory changes, product launches, competitive activity). Given Alpaca's regulated industry status, sound judgment is essential regarding when to rely on AI-generated output, when to verify it, and what information should not be shared with external tools. The role is designed for someone detail-oriented and commercially minded, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and naturally looking for ways to make the team more effective through better processes, data, tools, and automation. Success means helping create a sales organization where Account Executives are well-prepared for customer conversations, materials are accurate and easy to find, important follow-ups stay on track, and strategic opportunities receive necessary coordination and support.
