As Risk and Compliance Manager, you will serve as a subject matter expert on regulatory functions in a high-risk, complex banking environment. This is a strategic role requiring regulatory expertise, broad compliance acumen, business judgment, and the ability to operate independently in ambiguous situations. Key responsibilities include: conducting audit preparation and readiness activities; supporting partner bank pass-through regulatory examinations and due diligence requests; drafting policies and procedures to build a centralized governance framework; evaluating internal control effectiveness and recommending enhancements; managing enterprise training content and completion; monitoring regulatory landscape developments affecting LeafLink and partner banks; developing Board-level reporting of KRIs, KPIs, and other metrics; and conducting enterprise risk assessments and gap analyses. You will bring 3-5+ years of risk and compliance experience in high-growth environments, ideally with fintech or cannabis banking background. Preferred qualifications include experience drafting and maintaining policy libraries, building governance infrastructures, managing regulatory exams and audits, identifying and translating regulatory changes into actionable insights, conducting gap analyses and risk assessments, knowledge of KPIs and KRIs with Board-level reporting experience, and CRCM certification.
