Betterment, a technology-driven fintech company, is seeking a Revenue Operations Manager to drive analytics and operational excellence for the go-to-market organization. This hybrid role (4 days/week in NYC office) combines three core responsibilities: analytical leadership, systems building, and AI-driven optimization.
In the analytical core, you'll own revenue forecasting, executive reporting, QBR-grade analyses, quota and target analytics, and the models supporting planning and forecasting. You'll present findings directly to leadership and translate complex business questions into actionable insights.
You'll also build net-new systems: internal tools, data models, reporting infrastructure, planning models, dashboards, and operational workflows that scale across the organization. This includes architecting solutions you may not build yourself—translating business problems into clear requirements and driving execution with partner teams.
Third, you'll embed AI throughout Revenue Operations: building AI-assisted tooling, designing account scoring logic, automating manual work, and constantly identifying leverage opportunities. You'll balance speed with accuracy, maintainability, and security.
Key responsibilities include building and improving the reporting engine end-to-end, owning QBR processes with complex dataset analysis, contributing to revenue planning and quota setting, investigating open-ended business questions, building internal tools with AI-assisted development, and architecting scalable solutions.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Go-to-Market Analytics, or similar analytical operating roles. You're SQL-fluent, comfortable with large intricate datasets, think in joins and systems of record, and have a systems mindset anticipating edge cases and designing scalable solutions. You're fluent with modern AI tools (agentic workflows, critical evaluation, solution selection) and possess strong analytical instincts and business judgment. You ask why until you understand business objectives, finish work when it's adopted and running independently, and thrive with ambiguity.
