As a User Researcher, you will drive customer-centric product development by conducting comprehensive user research and helping scale the research function alongside Product and Design teams. This is a key role in Apollo's next growth phase, focused on improving ease of use, delightfulness, and overall user experience. Key responsibilities include: executing diverse research activities (foundational research, usability testing, interviews, surveys, ethnographic studies) to understand user behaviors and needs; developing and maintaining user personas and journey maps; integrating iterative testing and feedback loops into agile development; planning and facilitating usability testing sessions with recruitment, script development, and analysis; collecting and synthesizing user data to identify patterns and improvement opportunities; preparing clear research reports and presentations for stakeholders; collaborating with product managers, designers, and developers to integrate findings into product development; mentoring junior researchers and providing feedback on their work; staying current with UX research industry trends and best practices; and fostering a culture of user empathy across the organization. You will thrive in a fast-paced, hyper-growth startup environment, balancing multiple complex projects while maintaining research rigor. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker who can develop novel approaches to data interpretation and drive meaningful impact on product strategy and company direction.
