Precision for Medicine's Evidence Synthesis and Decision Modeling team is seeking a Research Scientist to join their health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) group. You will collaborate with health economists, statisticians, and researchers on methodologically innovative projects for pharmaceutical and biotech clients.
Key responsibilities include conducting targeted literature reviews to identify model inputs and methodologies from previous health technology assessments; working with senior leads to conceptualize cost-effectiveness models and budget impact models; programming, parameterizing, and validating economic models in Microsoft Excel; conducting analyses and interpreting findings; and contributing to client-ready deliverables including model protocols, technical reports, and peer-reviewed publications.
You will also support client management by preparing presentation materials, drafting meeting minutes, and communicating with clients on calls under guidance from senior team members. The role involves quality assurance of your own work and that of others, with attention to detail and effective communication of results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required qualifications include 2–4 years of professional experience in HEOR consulting serving pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare clients; a Master's degree in health economics, public policy, health policy, epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, or related sciences; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and VBA); excellent oral and written communication skills; strong organizational and time management abilities; and analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
