Salary: USD 129,600 - 158,400 / annual

xAI is seeking a Research Analyst to produce financial and market intelligence by querying data repositories and generating periodic reports. You will formulate and apply mathematical modeling and optimization methods to develop insights that assist management with decision-making and policy formulation. The role involves analyzing the company's competitive position and developing strategies to drive revenue growth. Key responsibilities include pulling and analyzing data to assess the company's industry standing, conducting ad-hoc client analyses, and optimizing advertising campaigns to drive key performance metrics and return on investment. You will participate in weekly Data Science Center of Action meetings to consult on ongoing projects and share knowledge with other analysts. You'll be responsible for delivering customized measurement products to key clients, researching products commissioned to external vendors, and representing the company at internal and external events while maintaining relationships with key clients and partners. Required experience includes applying Python and R for statistical modeling and predictive analytics, building interactive dashboards using Tableau and Power BI, leveraging cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for large-scale data processing, and designing A/B testing frameworks. You should have hands-on experience implementing machine learning algorithms for forecasting and segmentation, utilizing econometric techniques for market analysis, developing automated reporting systems with SQL and BI tools, and optimizing advertising campaigns through programmatic platforms. Additional requirements include conducting competitive benchmarking, creating KPI frameworks and attribution models for multi-channel campaigns, integrating third-party data sources, and ensuring compliance with data governance standards. Minimum qualifications: Master's degree in Business, Data Analysis, Administration, or related field, plus 1 year of experience as a Data Analyst or in a related role. The position offers telecommuting flexibility within the US pursuant to company policy.
