Salary: USD 19 - 21 / hourly
Jerry is an AI-powered platform helping customers manage their most important physical assets—cars, homes, motorcycles, and more. The company has grown to 5M+ customers, raised $240M+, and achieved profitability in 2024. You'll join the Customer Operations team in a fully remote role that blends sales and service responsibilities.
The role is fast-paced and team-oriented. You'll take great care of customers by not just answering their questions but identifying gaps in coverage, uncovering discounts they qualify for, and catching renewals before they spike. Responsibilities include:
- Answering inbound calls from customers shopping auto, home, motorcycle, and other policies, and from policyholders needing changes
- Developing deep product knowledge across a large panel of insurance companies to match the right coverage to each customer
- Processing service requests (vehicles, drivers, lienholders, policy documents)
- Problem-solving to remove barriers between customers and the right coverage
- Providing feedback to improve the product; the feedback loop is short enough that you'll see suggestions ship
You don't need to decide upfront whether you're sales or service—the company will determine the best fit during interviews. The work environment emphasizes warmth, speed, and a genuinely friendly, team-oriented culture. You'll have flexible scheduling options (5-day 8-hour or 4-day 10-hour weeks), work equipment provided, and opportunities to shape the customer experience as the product evolves.
The company is remote-first but also has offices in Palo Alto, New York City, Chicago, and Toronto if you prefer hybrid or in-person work.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior work experience in customer service, sales, or hospitality is a plus but not required
- Genuinely friendly and positive attitude with willingness to work as a team
- Strong work ethic
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills
- Must currently reside in AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, MA, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OR, TN, TX, UT, VA, or Ontario, Canada (full-time hourly employees must be in AZ, FL, GA, NV, NY, NC, TN, TX, UT, or VA)
- Company will pay for P&C insurance license if you don't have one yet
