Salary: USD 19 - 21 / hourly
Jerry is an AI-powered platform helping customers manage their most important physical assets—cars, homes, motorcycles, and more. The company has grown to 5M+ customers, raised $240M+, and achieved profitability since 2024. You'll join the Customer Operations team in a fully remote, fast-paced role that blends sales and service responsibilities.
This role runs on two career paths—sales and service—and the company will help you discover which aligns best with your strengths during the interview process. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering exceptional customer care by identifying not just what customers ask for, but what they need: coverage gaps, available discounts, upcoming renewals that may spike.
- Answering inbound calls from customers shopping auto, home, motorcycle, and other policies, as well as from policyholders requesting changes.
- Developing deep product knowledge across a large panel of insurance companies to match the right coverage to each customer. The app evolves constantly, and mastering it makes you the trusted guide customers rely on.
- Problem-solving to remove barriers between customers and appropriate coverage.
- Processing service requests (vehicles, drivers, lienholders, policy documents).
- Contributing product feedback through a short feedback loop—your suggestions often ship quickly.
The work is high-energy and team-oriented. You'll have opportunities to shape the customer experience as the product and services evolve. The company offers flexible scheduling (5-day 8-hour or 4-day 10-hour weeks), work equipment provided, and will pay for your P&C insurance license if you don't have one yet.
Requirements:
- Prior work experience in customer service, sales, or hospitality is a plus but not required.
- Genuinely friendly and positive attitude with willingness to work as a team.
- Strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and communication skills.
- Must currently reside in AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, MA, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OR, TN, TX, UT, VA, or Ontario, Canada (full-time hourly employees must be in AZ, FL, GA, NV, NY, NC, TN, TX, UT, or VA).
