As Regulatory Risk & Compliance Manager - UK, you will be the primary owner of Tide's e-money and payments regulatory compliance in the UK market. Reporting to the Global Director of Compliance, you'll sit alongside two other UK compliance colleagues and serve as the subject matter expert on Electronic Money Regulations 2011 and Payment Services Regulations 2017.
Key responsibilities include:
- Advising on the scope of Tide's e-money permission and leading compliance with relevant regulations
- Managing FCA correspondence, submissions, inspections, and thematic reviews
- Conducting horizon scanning and regulatory mapping for UK payments developments
- Executing the Compliance Monitoring Plan with ownership of monitoring activities and stakeholder engagement
- Providing regulatory support across risk areas including Financial Crime, Operational, Information Security, and Conduct
- Maintaining and updating compliance policies aligned with UK and FCA regulations
- Leading the Regulatory Risk & Compliance working group
- Delivering compliance training across the business on payments and e-money obligations
- Preparing management information for internal governance and external regulatory submissions
- Tracking regulatory deadlines, filing submissions, and preparing for FCA meetings and inspections
- Providing second-line oversight of first-line compliance controls
You'll work cross-functionally with Product, Member Operations, Payments, Marketing, Legal, and Finance teams in a fast-paced environment with significant impact on business strategy and operations.
