Revolut is seeking a Senior Regulatory Counsel to advise on legal and regulatory issues relating to retail and savings products. You will serve as a strategic partner to the Retail and Savings teams, providing expert guidance on the structuring of new and existing products while managing regulatory expectations and requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing strategic legal and regulatory advice on retail and savings product development
- Drafting customer-facing legal documents for financial products
- Helping structure and expand product features while managing regulatory compliance
- Engaging with European and local regulators
- Handling significant and complex legal matters with short turnaround times
- Balancing leadership responsibilities with hands-on execution
- Supporting overall product strategy through commercial involvement
This role offers substantial responsibility for Revolut's ongoing development and growth, with a breadth of work and level of commercial involvement that is unique for an in-house legal position. You will work across multiple European jurisdictions and contribute to shaping the future of fintech products.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE)
- Excellent academic credentials and law firm background
- Proven experience advising on financial regulations in Europe
- Demonstrated expertise advising on retail and savings products
- Strong knowledge of PSD2 and CRD regulations
- Sound judgment and composure under pressure
- Ability to make decisions with ambiguous or incomplete information
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
- Fluency in English
- Collaborative mindset
