Salary: PLN 19,800 - 29,200 / monthly
Revolut is seeking a Regulatory Counsel specializing in payments to join its Legal team. This is a hybrid role based in Bucharest with additional office locations in Krakow, Lisbon, London, and Madrid, plus remote flexibility across Poland, Portugal, Spain, and the UK.
You will advise on compliance and legal issues surrounding Revolut's payment features and broader financial products. The role combines strategic legal counsel with hands-on execution, offering significant responsibility for the company's growth and development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Advising on the structuring of new and existing financial products in payments and banking
- Drafting customer-facing legal documents for these products
- Structuring and expanding products while managing regulatory expectations and applications
- Engaging with European and local regulators
- Providing leadership while also executing complex legal work
- Managing significant and complex legal matters with tight turnaround times
Required qualifications:
- 6+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE)
- Strong academic credentials and law firm background
- Experience advising on financial regulations in Europe, particularly PSD2 and CRD
- Sound judgment and composure under pressure
- Ability to make decisions with ambiguous or incomplete information
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
- Fluency in English
