Revolut is seeking a Regulatory Counsel to join its growing Legal team in Vilnius, Lithuania. This is a hybrid role offering significant responsibility and commercial involvement in shaping Revolut's financial products and regulatory strategy.
You will advise the business on compliance and legal issues surrounding the structuring of new and existing financial products in payments and banking. Key responsibilities include drafting customer-facing legal documents, helping structure and expand Revolut's product offerings while managing regulatory expectations and requirements, engaging with European and local regulators, and handling complex legal matters with tight turnaround times.
The role offers breadth and depth unusual for in-house legal positions. You'll partner closely with cross-functional teams to provide practical, sharp advice that enables the business to move fast while maintaining compliance and protection. Your work will directly influence Revolut's ongoing development and growth across European markets.
Required qualifications include 3+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE), excellent academic credentials and law firm background, and proven experience advising on financial regulations in Europe, particularly PSD2 and CRD. You must demonstrate sound judgment, composure under pressure, collaborative mindset, and confidence making decisions with ambiguous or incomplete information. Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills are essential, along with fluency in English.
