With 75+ million customers and 13,000+ employees worldwide, the company is experiencing rapid growth and seeking a Regulatory Counsel based in Berlin to join its Legal team. The Legal team at Revolut partners across the organization to provide practical, sharp advice that enables the business to move fast while maintaining compliance and protection. This role focuses specifically on regulatory and compliance matters in Germany and the broader EEA. As Regulatory Counsel, you will advise the business on compliance and legal issues surrounding the structuring of new and existing financial products, particularly in payments and banking. You will draft customer-facing legal documents for these products, help structure and expand features while managing regulatory expectations and requirements, and engage directly with European and local regulators. The role involves handling significant and complex legal matters with short turnaround times, combining functional expertise with a results-driven approach. This is a unique in-house legal role with substantial commercial involvement and responsibility for Revolut's ongoing development and growth. You will work in a collaborative environment where sound judgment, composure under pressure, and exceptional stakeholder management are essential. Required qualifications include 5+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE), excellent academic credentials, and demonstrated experience advising on financial regulations in Germany and EEA-wide. You must have expertise with PSD2 and CRD regulations, strong communication skills, and fluency in both English and German. The ideal candidate combines confidence in making decisions amid ambiguity with collaborative mindset and exceptional stakeholder management abilities.
