Revolut is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Manager to lead compliance efforts for its wealth and trading products across Europe. This role sits within the Compliance team, which combines regulatory expertise with data-driven risk management to ensure products meet legal requirements while delivering customer value.
You will serve as the regulatory compliance expert for investment products, with primary responsibility for consumer protection and investment compliance under MiFID II, UCITS, and MAR frameworks. Key responsibilities include advising on client onboarding, product governance, and investment product launches; monitoring and testing the effectiveness of regulatory controls and architecture; drafting and implementing compliance plans, frameworks, and policies; and supporting product launches with expert regulatory guidance to ensure local regulatory compliance.
You will develop and execute a comprehensive compliance framework and training program, participate in regulator interactions, and conduct regulatory gap analyses. The role requires close collaboration with the Operations team and various internal stakeholders to balance compliance risk with business objectives.
Required qualifications include practical, hands-on knowledge of MiFID II, UCITS, and MAR regulations; experience in compliance risk management within a consultancy, compliance function, or regulatory body; strong project management skills to handle multiple initiatives under tight deadlines; expertise in regulatory gap analysis and policy creation/implementation; and the ability to communicate effectively with regulators and cross-functional teams. You must demonstrate excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-moving fintech environment.
