Revolut is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Manager to join its Compliance team in a remote role based in Colombia. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that Revolut's products meet all legal and regulatory requirements while managing conduct risk in a fast-moving, digital environment.
Key responsibilities include validating that regulatory obligations are accurately mapped to existing controls within financial institutions, guiding and supporting junior team members in performing quality control checks, and recommending improvements to second line of defense (2LoD) processes. You will review work performed by regulatory compliance subject matter experts with meticulous attention to detail, communicate findings and actionable feedback to stakeholders, and identify opportunities to enhance compliance processes and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Additional duties involve maintaining and refining compliance methodology, adapting approaches to evolving process changes, and reviewing the quality and documentation of deliverables across both the first and second lines of defense.
The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of experience in regulatory compliance across the three lines of defense within fintech, financial institutions, consultancies, or regulatory bodies. You must have a proven track record interpreting laws and regulations from Colombian regulatory bodies such as the SFC and URF. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, including the ability to provide constructive feedback and guidance to team members. You should possess knowledge of industry best-practice regulatory compliance controls, maintain a results-driven and detail-oriented mindset, and demonstrate fluency in English.
Nice-to-have qualifications include a law degree, experience managing and developing team members, exposure to assurance or internal/external audit with a focus on risk and compliance, familiarity with compliance test scripts and procedures, and relevant certifications such as ICA or CISI.
