Revolut is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Manager to oversee regulatory frameworks and compliance obligations for non-financial services, including Shops, Stays, and RevPoints loyalty programs. This role sits within Revolut's Compliance team, which combines regulatory expertise with data-driven thinking to ensure products meet legal and policy requirements while delivering customer value.
Key responsibilities include: providing oversight on compliance obligations, complaints, and related controls for non-financial services; ensuring high-quality regulatory mapping and gap analysis; challenging, assessing, and implementing policies from scratch; reviewing first-line-of-defense (1LoD) compliance approvals and providing feedback; establishing and maintaining a robust company-wide training and competency program; conducting root-cause analyses to improve customer outcomes; and horizon scanning for relevant regulatory changes across geographies.
The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of regulatory compliance experience in a consultancy, compliance function, or regulatory body. Required expertise includes non-financial services regulations (ASA CAP Code, telecommunications regulations, etc.), regulatory gap analysis, and policy creation/implementation. A university degree in STEM, business, or finance is required. You must understand the interplay between compliance risk and business risk, communicate effectively with internal teams and regulators, and thrive under pressure while managing multiple concurrent projects. Fluency in English is essential.
