Revolut is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Manager to oversee customer-centric regulatory frameworks within the Compliance team. This role focuses on consumer protection compliance, ensuring that Revolut's products meet legal and policy requirements while delivering real value to customers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing oversight on compliance obligations for consumer protection frameworks and related controls
- Ensuring high-quality regulatory mapping across relevant jurisdictions
- Challenging, assessing, and implementing consumer protection policies from scratch
- Reviewing first-line-of-defense (1LoD) compliance approvals for consumer protection initiatives and providing feedback
- Establishing and maintaining a robust, company-wide consumer protection training programme
- Conducting horizon scanning for relevant geographies to stay ahead of regulatory changes
- Reviewing and challenging 1LoD incident reviews to ensure effective remediation
Required qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in regulatory compliance roles within consultancy, compliance functions, or regulatory bodies
- Deep expertise in consumer protection obligations (consumer duty, REG E, DISP, LT Consumer Protection, etc.)
- University degree in STEM, business, or finance
- Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory gap analysis
- Familiarity with policy creation and implementation
- Understanding of the interplay between compliance risk and business risk
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with internal teams and regulators
- Fluency in English
